The Australian Sea Lion is the one of the world's rarest. After the arrival of humans in New Zealand, and particularly after the arrival of Europeans in Australia these beautiful creatures suffered a catastrophic reduction to there population due to hunting, this drove them to near extinction! We are lucky enough to have several colonies all along the WA coast and even luckier to have them want to interact with us. #wildlife #nature #perthlife #underwater #underwaterphotography clearly this one didn't like the reflection of himself in the large lens I had on.
