Because of its warm, sunny climate, diving in Mahé is possible throughout the year. From October to April, the northwest monsoon arrives bringing with it rain and warm temperatures. May to September hosts the southeast monsoon which is known for strong winds and cooler weather. Daytime arir temperatures range from 82-90°F (28-32℃) while water temperatures average between 79-86°F (26-30℃).
